Get to know Google Analytics 4

PearlConvert offers Google Analytics 4 courses for those who want to learn about, and prepare well for the transition to the new and exciting generation of Google Analytics!

The rapid development in general of the internet, online shopping and digital marketing has led to more complex analysis needs, driven by, among other things, ever-new complexity, new privacy laws and GDPR requirements. Google has responded to this and developed a next-generation analysis tool, more adapted to the future! Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which in July 2023 completely replaced today's Universal Analytics (UA) version, is more suitable for securing privacy with more reliable analysis from Google's advanced AI

From 1 July 2023, data will no longer be processed in standard Universal Analytics reports, and we recommend everyone using Google Universal Analytics (UA/GA3) today to implement Google Analytics 4 as soon as possible. This is because it is obviously advantageous to collect as much data as possible in GA4 before UA disappears. Access to historical data from last year will then be secured next year, in order to run year-on-year comparison analyzes in GA4. Furthermore, it is advantageous to become familiar with the tool already this year.

There are constant new improvements and changes happening still in Google Analytics 4, but we assume that the tool is now 90% complete, and we therefore offer courses to make it easier to get to know the tool better. Here you can learn more about differences and improvements in GA4, best practice and what we expect from upcoming updates in the tool going forward.
